If you thought Jim Carrey would disappear into oblivion again after his recent ‘memorable’ appearance at the 2017 Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party, you couldn’t be more wrong. The Hollywood star returns once more to share his wisdom, this time by exposing Face ID technology and the New World Order agenda.
Carrey has spoken out to expose Apple’s latest model of the immensely popular iPhone and reveal that its new Face ID technology was designed to ‘enslave humanity’.
The movie star claimed that he is completely done with using products from the multinational technology company after learning they want to use their devices to “usher in a totalitarian New World Order”.
While promoting his new Netflix documentary, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond at the Toronto Film Festival, he stated:
“If George Orwell wrote 1984 today, it would have been about tech companies ruling over a totalitarian state instead of communists, the stores would be called ‘town squares’ and the phones that you are forced to buy would read your face.”
The actor was apparently referring to Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone x, or iPhone 10, which is supposed to be released in early November.
This highly-anticipated Smartphone is Apple’s biggest launch so far, replacing the fingerprint scanning technology with a new facial recognition system.
The phone is equipped with tiny cameras that scan the user’s face, which means only the registered owner is able to unlock and use the phone simply by looking at it.
Furthermore, these unique facial scans of all iPhone users will be saved on Apple’s servers, and many believe this to be a serious breach of privacy.
According to Carrey, Apple’s new Face ID technology will fall into the wrong hands and pose a huge threat to the future of humanity.
“You can guarantee this same tech will be used by someone to identify protesters, to figure out if you’re depressed or manic, and how to cash in on that,” Carrey said.
“I’m not saying Apple will. But I am saying that this is increasingly doable and will be done by the people you don’t want doing it, the people who are driving us towards a New World Order.”
He believes facial recognition technology is merely the “latest step on the march toward surveillance.”
With employee productivity monitoring, consumer behavior studies and other forms of market research, we can’t say that we’re shocked by the use of invasive surveillance. However, with the recent technological advances, it definitely has become more pervasive and disturbing.
“What’s wrong with a password that I and only I store up here?” Carrey said, tapping with his finger.
“No cloud-based storage is necessary.
“You know they want to read your thoughts.
“How dare you keep a secret from them!
“The global elite thinks your secrets are a threat to them. Secrets are lies.”
He concluded his rant with an eerie warning:
“Only when they can read our thoughts will they stop. And by then it will be too late. They will have total power.”
Whatever the case may be, the Truman Show star’s new raft of dystopian, metaphysical warnings at the Toronto International Film Festival, this time focused on Apple and their new Face ID technology will definitely provoke reactions again.
