A lot of people wake up in the middle of the night, at exactly the same time. You probably do it too but haven’t given much thought to it, dismissing it as insomnia or work-related stress.
While it’s entirely possible that’s the reason you keep waking up, it’s also possible that it’s something completely different. This could be your body’s way of communicating a message to you from a higher power.
According to ancient Chinese medicine, the energy meridians of the body are connected to a clock that influences different parts of the body at different periods of the day. This means that having trouble sleeping at some period of the night might be a sign that you have physical or emotional problems.
As it turns out, maybe you should start paying attention to the time you wake up in the middle of the night.
It is also believed that the sleep cycle is the time when we receive messages from a Higher Power. And these messages could contain information about your spiritual journey.
So, if you tend to wake up the same time every night, read below and find out what it means.
Waking Up Between 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm
This is the typical bedtime for most people. However, if you’re having trouble falling asleep between these hours, it could mean that you’re under a lot of stress and worry too much. Meditation or relaxation exercises are recommended to help you fall asleep.
Waking Up Between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am
Ancient Chinese medicine says this is the time when the gallbladder is active. But, waking up at this timeframe is also connected with emotional disappointment. If you want to go back to sleep you should practice how to forgive others and accept yourself.
Waking Up Between 1:00 am and 3:00 am
This energy meridian is associated with the liver which is connected with emotions of anger. In order to get back to peaceful dreaming, try to drink cold water or meditate.
Waking Up Between 3:00 am and 5:00 am
You should pay the most attention if you are waking up in this period, as it might be a sign that the Divine Power is trying to guide you toward your higher purpose. According to Chinese medicine, waking up at this time is also associated with the energy meridian that runs through the lungs, which is connected with the emotion of sadness. If you want to fall asleep again, try to breathe slowly and pray to the Divine Power within you.
Waking Up Between 5:00 am and 7:00 am
During this time of the morning, the energy flow is in the large intestines. But, emotional blockages are also associated with this time of the early morning. If you want to continue sleeping, try to stretch a little or maybe use the bathroom.
The body is a truly fascinating thing. If we just learn to observe and interpret what it’s trying to tell us, we might be able to improve the physical and spiritual aspects of our lives and become the best version of ourselves.
